Gall Gotfried is a registered patent attorney for Schwegman Lundberg & Woessner based out of New York City.

Gall has extensive experience managing day-to-day patent prosecution of a worldwide patent portfolio. Gall also has vast experience with contested global proceedings including U.S. Reexaminations, European oppositions, and Japanese and Korean invalidation proceedings. Specifically, Gall has challenged the validity of U.S. patents that were involved in complex U.S. litigation. In addition, Gall has successfully defended challenges against multiple U.S. patents and successfully presented oral arguments at the Patent Trial and Appeal Board resulting in the validity of the patents being maintained.

Gall has specialized expertise in the complex rules governing patent term adjustment and has overseen a large number of successful patent term adjustment challenges which resulted in the increase of patent term of multiple U.S. patents.

Gall has also played a key role in a global licensing program of dozens of U.S. and foreign patents. In connection with the global licensing program and several patent litigations, Gall has prepared claim charts, analyzed the validity of patents, reviewed prior art, prepared complaints and summary judgment motions.

Gall has also prepared a number of freedom to operate opinions and invalidity opinions.
