Rejecting Hate: Firm Statement Condemning Anti-Asian Hate Crimes

As the Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) community faces a frightening wave of anti-Asian attacks and discrimination, we extend our support and lock arms with our AAPI family and with AAPI individuals across the United States. We stand in solidarity with the AAPI community as they mourn the loss of family members and friends to hateful acts driven by racism and xenophobia.

We believe we all have a shared responsibility to call out injustice and we condemn the alarming escalation during the Covid-19 pandemic of racially charged rhetoric, harassment, and violence directed against the AAPI community. Please join us in committing to doing more to end racially motivated violence and discrimination.
