William Kalweit is a registered patent attorney and Principal at Schwegman Lundberg & Woessner. His practice includes patent procurement with emphasis on software. He received his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics from Metropolitan State University in Minnesota. Prior to law school he worked for seven years as a programmer at Allina Hospitals and Clinics. In law school he was a research assistant to Professor Thomas Cotter, was a director of the University of Minnesota Law School Bankruptcy Clinic, and was a director of, and national competitor in, the Giles Sutherland Rich Moot Court.
