Tony is licensed to practice law in Maryland, North Carolina and the District of Columbia and is registered before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
For over the last twenty years, Tony has practiced patent law in a variety of fields, including telecommunications, software, semiconductor, and mechanical arts. In the telecommunications arts, he has experience with edge networks, enterprise networks, and 5G technologies. In the software arts, Tony has experience with multimedia, e-commerce, and blockchain applications. In the semiconductor arts, he has worked with wafer fabrication techniques and the equipment used to fabricate semiconductor wafers.
Tony has managed patent portfolios throughout the world, with considerable experience before the U.S., European, Japanese, and Chinese patent offices.
Prior to entering the practice of law, Tony was an electromechanical engineer at NASA. Tony focused on laser altimeters and deep space telescopes during his time as an electromechanical engineer. In addition, Tony worked in the Office of Patent Counsel while at NASA, where Tony drafted and prosecuted patent applications in the aerospace and aeronautical fields.
