Gall has extensive experience managing day-to-day patent prosecution of a worldwide patent portfolio. Gall also has significant experience with contested global proceedings including U.S. Reexaminations, European oppositions, and Japanese and Korean invalidation proceedings. Specifically, Gall has challenged the validity of U.S. patents that were involved in complex U.S. litigation. In addition, Gall has defended challenges against multiple U.S. patents and presented oral arguments at the Patent Trial and Appeal Board.
Gall has deep knowledge of the complex rules governing patent term adjustment and has overseen a large number of patent term adjustment challenges.
Gall has also played a key role in a global licensing program of dozens of U.S. and foreign patents. In connection with the global licensing program and several patent litigations, Gall has prepared claim charts, analyzed the validity of patents, reviewed prior art, prepared complaints and summary judgment motions.
