Eric is an attorney at Schwegman Lundberg & Woessner. His practice includes patent preparation and prosecution, freedom-to-operate analysis, and clearance opinions, primarily in mechanical, electromechanical, and controls technologies. Before working at Schwegman, Eric worked for the 3M Company as a Process Engineer in Hutchinson, Minnesota, and as a Manufacturing Engineer in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Eric received his J.D. (cum laude) from Mitchell Hamline School of Law. At Mitchell Hamline, Eric received the Patent Law Certificate and participated in the patent claims drafting competition. Prior to law school, Eric earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University in Houghton, Michigan.

In his spare time, Eric enjoys spending time with his family and playing golf.
