Tony is a Principal at Schwegman Lundberg & Woessner. His practice includes patent preparation and prosecution, freedom-to-operate analysis, and clearance opinions, primarily in mechanical, medical device, electro-mechanical, and controls technologies. Prior to working at Schwegman, Tony worked as an Engineer and Engineering Manager in the custom HVAC industry. Tony worked with a variety of mechanical, electrical, and controls technologies at Nortek Air Systems (previously CES) in Eden Prairie, MN, where he became manager of the Mammoth Application Engineering group during law school.
Tony received his J.D. (magna cum laude) from William Mitchell College of Law in 2015. At William Mitchell, Tony was a staff writer for Cybaris®, an Intellectual Property Law Review, for two years. Tony also participated in the William Mitchell Intellectual Property Law Clinic, assisting independent inventors with their patent law needs. Prior to law school, Tony earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities.
In his spare time, Tony enjoys exercising and spending time with his family.
