2019 World Elder Abuse Day Conference

We are proud to be a sponsor of the 2019 WEAAD Conference on June 5, 2019 at Earle Brown Heritage Center in Brooklyn Park, MN. This full day conference is geared towards professionals working to prevent and effectively intervene in the abuse, neglect and financial exploitation of older and vulnerable adults.

This year’s keynote speaker, Kathy Greenlee, will share her expertise in the areas of aging, long-term care, disability, elder abuse, health care and community service innovation, and LGBT health. After a 25 year career in public service, her goal is to engage with local, regional, national, and international partners to advance programs, policies and system reforms aimed at improving people’s lives. She is particularly attuned to the relationships between health, independence, and security.
